“ZORI” to Held Tea Ceremony in Kuala Lumpur from 10th – 12th January 2020
“ZORI”, a successor unit to the traditional arts of Osaka, will hold tea ceremony event “茶・CHA・CHAT!” from 10th to 12th January 2020 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  The event will be happening in Tokyo Street Pavilion KL.

“ZORI” is a successor unit to the traditional arts of Osaka which was formed to transmit the charm of the traditional industries of Osaka, the leading city of Japan, to overseas.

This event is to be held collaborating with three Japanese companies; NISHINOMEIKOUEN, a traditional Japanese tea shop located in Osaka and Sakai since 1854,
FUKUROYA TOWEL & Co.,Ltd, which manufactures and sells the traditional industry "Senshu Towel" in the Senshu region of Osaka Prefecture,
and KIKUSUISANGYO Co., Ltd., which manufactures and sells purely domestic wooden cake knives called "KUROMOJI".

“Zori” are Japanese sandals made from rice straw or lacquered wood.  The name of ZORI” for three companies’ collaboration is based on the concept of cultural transmission from Osaka to overseas.

During the event, you can enjoy Macha, Japanese sweets using “made in Osaka” tooth picks and towels.
