Finance Section Head – Kajang

Job Description

・To lead the Company’s overall financial and accounting operational functions which include direct and indirect taxation, treasury, credit control, cost control, risk & internal control management
・To maintain & review financial and management reports; identify trends, problem areas & resolve with solution
・To develop and implement internal financial & accounting policies, procedures, systems and guidelines.
・To monitor the preparation of annual report.
・Responsible for timely monthly & yearly closing of account
・To manage corporate tax related matters
・Liaison with internal & external stakeholders such as management team, external auditors, bankers, tax agents and statutory bodies (Custom Dept, IRB, BNM)
・Preparation of annual budget
・Costing, profitability and variance analysis
・Manage the cashflow of the company
・Review and preparation of payroll journal entries

Requirements

・Degree in accounting or a professional accounting qualification MIA member
・Must be a MIA member
・Familiar with MFRS
・A least 5 years of experience with min 3 years at the senior executive level
・Familiar with Enterprise Resource Planning systems is a plus point
・Familiar with cost accounting in a manufacturing would be an added advantage
