Senior Production Manager – Shah Alam

Job Description

・To manage production planning, process control, Inventory control, waste control, ensure product quality, delivery on time and cost control/budget.
・To lead and manage the entire Production team to ensure smooth production processes and operations in the Plant
・Oversee and manage effective production planning across all production operations to ensure optimal production yield while minimising wastage
・Lead and champion the implementation of all production initiatives that will continuously help to improve production processes, increase productivity and efficiency, product quality and product standards in line with best practices
・Define and implement cost management initiatives aimed at identifying and mitigating wastage and preventing erosion of profits
・Define and oversee the implementation of policies for achieving higher productivity and cost efficiency across all production operations
・To review existing system, improvise and implement best practices to achieve cost effective productivity and on time delivery for all order received
・To ensure the Company is strictly adhere to all Government legitimate rules and regulations on Environment, Safety & Health and all inhouse safety policies from the Production perspective

Requirements

・Minimum Degree in Production, Manufacturing or other Science Majors
・At least 10 years relevant experience in manufacturing environment with large workforce. Preferably candidate from a multi-national manufacturing organisation
・Sound practical experience in 5-S, QMS, EMA, IATF 16949, Safety & Health and other relevant standards
・Strong leadership skills - able to motivate, train and supervise teams across multiple sections
・Good communication and people management skills
・Good planning, organisation, research, analytical and problem-solving skills
